Trim By Design, Inc. – One-Year Functionality Warranty
All plumbing products are warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship for one (1) year from date of purchase by the original purchaser. The warranty is not transferable and is extended solely to the original purchaser of the product. Products must be installed in accordance with the installation instructions provided with the products.
Trim By Design will, at its election, repair, replace or make appropriate adjustment where Trim By Design inspection discloses any such defects occurring in normal usage within one (1) year of purchase by the original purchaser. Trim By Design is not responsible for removal or installation costs.
Trim By Design, Inc. – Drainage and Strainer Limited Warranty
Trim By Design warrants Polished Brass PVD (01), Stainless Steel (20), Polished Chrome (26) and Satin Chrome (27) finishes for kitchen sink strainers, disposal flanges, disposal stoppers, bar strainers, bath and lavatory drains of all types to be free of defects in material and workmanship during normal residential usage to the original consumer purchaser (“original purchaser”) for one (1) year from the date the product is purchase by the “original purchaser”. All other finishes have no warranty.
If a defect is found in normal residential use, Trim By Design will, at its election, repair, provide a replacement part or product, or make appropriate adjustment. If repair or replacement is not commercially practical or cannot be made in a timely manner, then Trim By Design will provide a refund for the product. Damage to a product caused by accident, misuse, or abuse is not covered by this warranty. Improper maintenance/care and cleaning will void the warranty. Proof of purchase (original sales receipt) must be provided to Trim By Design with all warranty claims. Trim By Design is not responsible for labor charges, installation, or other incidental or consequential costs.
Trim By Design, Inc. – Product Finish Limited Warranty
Trim By Design warrants all plumbing part finishes to be free of defects in material and workmanship during normal residential usage to the “original purchaser” for ten (10) years from the date the product is purchased on the original sales receipt by the “original purchaser”. PVD “Physical Vapor Depositing” finishes on products other than drainage and strainer are warranted as long as the “original purchaser” owns their home. The warranty is not transferable and is extended solely to the “original purchaser” of the product. Products must be maintained in accordance with the care and cleaning instructions provided with the products.
Trim By Design, Inc. – Commercial Warranty
Trim By Design warrants its products installed in an industrial, commercial application business to be free of defects in material, finish (including PVD) and workmanship for one (1) year from date of purchase by the “original purchaser”.
Proper maintenance and care is required to preserve all finishes. Abrasive material such as a brush or scouring pad and all cleaning products that contain ammonia, bleach and alcohol should not be used. Do not use brass or silver polish on products. Products may periodically be cleaned or waxed with non-abrasive compounds, such as Flitz Faucet Wax or Faucet Brite. Always test cleaning solution on an inconspicuous area before applying to the entire surface. For complete care requirements and recommendations, please see finish care.
Exclusions from Coverage
Trim By Design shall have no obligation under this warranty for leaks or damages caused by abuse, improper installation, temperatures below 41 degrees and above 140 degrees fahrenheit, water pressure over 125 psi and Acts of Nature or Force Majeure. This Warranty does not cover labor charges, installation or other incidental or consequential cost or damages occurring during the removal, transportation, return or installation of products or replacement products. Products sold to customers for display use are not meant for resale and are not covered under any functional or finish warranty.
Some states do not allow exclusion of limitations of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
